Mayer Engel joins QPC as Director of Worldwide Sales

(Sylmar, Calif.) – Quintessence Photonics Corporation (QPC) announced the hiring of Mayer Engel as the Director of Worldwide Sales on July 12, 2004 at its corporate headquarters in Sylmar, California.

Mayer was most recently the North American Business Development Manager for High Power Laser Diodes at OSRAM Opto Semiconductors Inc, having joined that company after serving as Manager of Business Development for High Power Lasers Diodes at Infineon Technologies Corporation. Prior to his work at Infineon, Mayer held several senior sales and marketing positions for Siemens Opto Electronics and Spectra-Physics.

Mayer holds a B.S and M.S. in Metallurgical Engineering, as well as an M.B.A. from
Purdue University.
