( SYLMAR , CA ) July 5 2005 — Quintessence Photonics Corporation, a world leader in the design and manufacture of high brightness, high power semiconductor lasers, announced today that it has won a multi-year production contract for high brightness, direct diode, semiconductor lasers from one of the world’s preeminent medical laser manufacturers. QPC's proprietary technology will be used in the next generation of minimally invasive procedures to treat varicose veins.
